Who are we?

We are a small and commercially-focussed law practice in Central London. The two partners have many years of experience in the work that we do and worked together before forming this practice in 2001.

Michael Welch qualified in 1972 and is a commercial lawyer. He is also a licensed Insolvency Practitioner. Midge Lewis qualified in 1985 and is a commercial litigator concentrating on High Court matters.

Where we are?

Having always practiced in Central London, our founding partner, Michael Welch was clear that the right place for a lawyer to practice must be within walking distance of the High Court, that is, at the heart of the English Law. We and our clients also find that our Bloomsbury office is in a congenial area.   This is our base but, of course, sometimes the work takes us elsewhere.
